Old and conventual food / cuisine with medieval flavours - the features which best describe this restaurant. These rushing times that run so fast push us to a stressful life. We have to live fast, eat fast, even sleep fast. Everything must follow the strict goals set by today’s society. This restaurant intends to calm you down and invite you to stop for a while, not to eat but to sense the flavours of food, to enjoy the time which we lack, to chat with someone you like, to philosophise on life. No television, just good music for a company. The food is slowly cooked (slow food), no French fries, no supermarket sauces nor additives … just good olive oil, wild herbs and good wine. And if you’re alone you can ask for just a glass. The recipes are all from the North, based on our research, recovering the old dishes that used to be served in the taverns, noble houses and convents. The desserts are always made in this restaurant. The specialities must be ordered in advance, due to their gastronomic qualities, however some of them will appear along the week, as well as some author’s recipes. Above all, we intend to make alchemy of fragrances, taste and appearance, if possible.
